1. I adore snow days! They are my new most favorite things. Even today without the snow, just working in my pj's and just waiting for the snow to start, it was fabulous!
2. The Creative Faces Project: These photos are just gorgeous and so creative! I love the idea of a twist on a classic portrait. Not to mention, they're all Broadway peeps, so that makes them even cooler.
3. Who knew the creatives at Pixar were so darn into classic movies? Some of these shots were a little bit of a stretch, but a lot of them are pretty amazing!
4. I love Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie. It's almost annoying how witty and clever they are. Excuse the language in a few, but these thoughts on Life are 100% true. What I wouldn't give to be able to say a few of these to random people on an everyday basis! Also, I'm thinking of using #11 in my Match.com profile : )
5. Every #Ham4Ham is amazing in its own way. This one is doubly amazing!

Friday Five
I never see movies. Friends have stopped starting sentences with "Have you seen...?" because they know it will end with, "yeah, not so much.". Literally, the last movie I saw was "Frozen." However, every once in a while, some awesome movies come out that I just have to see. Apparently, this is one of those times. I'm dying to see these 5 - yes I realize 3 of them are kid movies. But honestly, these days, the kid movies are just so much funnier than adult movies!
1. Big Hero 6: I've been waiting for this one since the little teaser came out a few months ago. Such a cute idea!
2. Book of Life: I've been itching for this movie to come out for almost a year. I was a little perturbed that the creators tried to trademark "Dia de Los Muertos", but now that they've wisened up and changed the name, everything is fabulous again. This movie looks gorgeous! I'm hoping it lives up to my VERY high expectations!
3. Inside Out; This movie has 2 giant things going for it. One, it's a Pixar movie and everyone knows that Pixar movies are the BEST. And two, it's pretty much about the psychology of emotion which is perfect to satisfy the psych major geek in me. Should be fabulous!
4. Hector and the Search for Happiness: I read this very short book and fell in love with it. The story of a doctor setting off on a world wide search for what makes people happy, is sweet and funny and was just itching to be made into a movie. Casting Simon Pegg as Hector was just icing on the cake! Only issue I see: I'm fairly certain it will never come to a theatre near me.
5. What we Did on our Holiday: A Scottish flick starring David Tennant, how could you go wrong? Apparently, most of the dialogue was adlibbed and it was filmed on location in Scotland. I'm in love already! Of course, seeing as it's a British flick, I'll probably never see it until I see it in Great Britain. Ugh!

Monsters!
Brain's a little fried after writing a post for Food Riot this evening so this will be a bit short. But if you couldn't decipher the post title, it means that we are quite excited here about the opening of Monsters University. My niece is a big fan since she's been playing with Mike and Sully dolls at my parents house for as long as she can remember. So it was her idea to go see the movie together. Quite honestly, I'd probably be there anyway seeing it, even if she wasn't with me. I loved loved loved Monsters Inc. It's in my top 2 favorite Pixar Movies (the other being Finding Nemo of course!) So my sneaky, may not happen but I certainly hope to make it happen, goal is to whip these babies out on cookies. Cookies are ultimately much more sneak-in-able than cupcakes, don't you think!?
And if I give these cookies a shot, I can avoid the whole having to ice the cookie except for the little bit to stick the marshmallows on. If you hear nothing regarding my awesomeness on Saturday, please don't ask. It will certainly mean that I lack a great deal of awesomeness and Operation Cool Cookies was a disaster...
