Friday Five

1. Words cannot express how much I love these stamps.  They are super adorable and fun to color on a Friday night!

2. Rickie Fowler seems to take this whole being single thing way better than I do.  Good for him!

3. For the record, this is exactly how I react when it's time to leave the book store...

4. What a fabulous piece on a phenomenal actor!  I had the chance to see Christian Borle play Shakespeare and in 1 month I'll get to see him in Falsettos and in about 7 months I'll get to see him as Willy Wonka.  He's amazing, and I'm glad he's getting the chance to shine!

5. Honestly, how cute is this dog photobombing Pope Francis?  He's just about the happiest dog ever!

Friday Five

1. Talk about making the best of a bad situation.  I'm in love with the idea that she decided to use creativity to kick Cancer's butt.  What an awesome way to take control and make art! You go girl!

2. A few months ago, it was announced that Bette Midler would be starring in Hello Dolly! on Broadway in 2017.  Then it was announced that David Hyde Pierce would be starring along side her.  Then today, they broke the bank by announcing tickets are going on sale tomorrow AND Gavin Creel & Jennifer Simard would also be in the production! Holy great casting Batman!  I predict the tickets will go as quickly as Hamilton...

3. This little guy going bonkers for the dog park is just the cutest!  For the record, I react much the same when I see a bookstore or a scrapbook store...

4. Little Miss Flint's reactions to President Obama and Donald Trump perfectly sum up my reactions to them both.  I'm fairly certain her facial expression when meeting Trump, mirrors the sane people in the US that can't even fathom 4 years of this moron.

5. Next week, new TV starts!  Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of summer tv, but it's all pretty much over now so I'm ready for the good stuff.  I'm looking forward to checking out Bull, Speechless, and Designated Survivor.  As well as old favorites like NCIS'es, Big Bang Theory and Madam Secretary.  Yay for no repeats!

Friday Five

1. Love, Love, Love Cigna's new ad! So cute!

2. Is it too early to start asking for Christmas gifts?  Because if it isn't, this Tardis watch is so totally on my list.

3. A pet peeve of mine is when people say that a specific breed of dog - like Pit Bulls or Rotweillers - are evil or dangerous.  Like every single one of these dogs are just ticking time bombs waiting to go off.  It's ridiculous.  And these adorable photos prove it!

4. As I write this, I'm sitting here watching Stand Up To Cancer.  What an incredible movement for an umbelievably good cause.  Science has done so much and by raising funds for to let these researchers work, is so very, very needed.  We can be the ones to end this horrible disease if we can just get a little more involved with the movement.

5. I'm a huge fan of the fact that in 17 hours I'll FINALLY be seeing Hamilton!  So darn excited!!!!!

Friday Five

1. I'm officially in love with this dog.  He has the cutest face and seems like the sweetest! After seeing these pictures, I'm not sure how anyone can say that ALL pitbulls are dangerous.

2. No matter how many people say that Phil Mickelson is all washed up, he always comes back and surprises everyone.  And in this case he doesn't hold back from taking his jabs at the critics : )

3. I'm a sucker for creative ways to raise money for a great cause.  This is one of those creative ways.  Pasta as a way to help those hurt in the earthquake in Italy?  So perfect!

4. I'm still a huge fan of In a Creative Bubble for all my scrapbooking needs, however I found another designer this week that almost matches her designs - One Little Bird.  Such cute stuff at such great prices!  I love this whole digital scrapbooking revolution - it's just so much cheaper than buying stuff in stores.

5. This means it's super close to Series 4, right?!  Woohoo!

Friday Five

1. If he hadn't been adopted so quickly and he didn't reside across the country, I would have totally decided to adopt this little guy and his big attitude.  Is he not the cutest dog ever?! I love him and his name!

2. As stated yesterday, I'm over the moon that Phil Mickelson is playing so well in Scotland. He's been on fire these last 2 rounds.  I only hope he can keep it together through Sunday and take home the win.  I'm also fairly in love with the fact that there's a whole article on why he's wearing a binder clip on his hat.  I suppose it was a slow news day at Golf.com.

3. In the travel category this week, this definitely falls into the #Goals column.  A list of the best NYC ice cream?  Yes, please!!!

4. One of my pet peeves is drinking non-icy cold water.  I hate water or any drink that isn't super cold.  Because of this, I've recently fallen in love with my (stolen from my mother) HydroFlask.  I've been chatting this thing up so much, they should start paying me royalties. It will keep cold drinks cold for 24 hours (mine has kept ice for over 24 hours - I tested it!) and hot stuff hot for up to 6 hours.  And it comes in pretty colors too!  I can't wait for my pretty plum one to come in the mail!

5. I was understandably upset when I heard I wouldn't be seeing Lin Manuel Miranda in Hamilton come October.  However, I was quite happy to hear that Javier Munoz would be replacing him.  He's been his standby for the entire run and has a history with the show already.  He most definitely deserves the role and I can't wait to see him in a few short months.  But after learning all of what he's overcome, I'm even more excited to see him get his chance to shine.  He seems like a truly wonderful and genuine human being!

Friday Five

1. Jessica Jones on Netflix: This may seem redundant since everyone and their brother is saying how awesome the show is, but I must say that I concur.  It's amazing!  Quite honestly, I only watched because David Tennant was cast.  However, after the first episode, where he doesn't even actually appear, I'm already hooked.  Such great acting and such great suspense.  I sort of want to see David Tennant and not wat to see David Tennant.  I want to see him because I love David Tennant.  But they've really built up what a nasty bad guy he is, so I think I might already be a bit creeped out by his character...

2. Pug in the Trash:  It's adorable! Also, exactly why I don't have a dog.

3. My other favorite doggie centric funny of the week. Sending a little Christmas Spirit to dog owners : )
4. I learned this week that there's a "store" in Maryland called Book Thing.  And in this store, they give away thousands of free books every year.  That's all they do.  They don't actually sell any books.  They're all donated - which you can also do there.  Then you just choose any books your heart desires and walk on out the door without paying a dime.  How amazing is that? Also, how have I not heard of this before?

5. If you're a fan of coconut like I am, I highly recommend this recipe for Coconut Impossible Pie.  It's impossible because it creates its own crust in the oven.  It's basically the simplest recipe ever and tastes just like coconut custard pie.  So delish!  So delicious in fact, that I scarfed it down without a single pic...

Friday Five

1. Peanut Yourself : This was too fun!  I love Peanut Me!
2. I finally faced my fears in regards to final episodes and watched the series finale of Psych. And without a doubt, it was a perfect finale!  I wish I hadn't waited an entire year to watch it. It had heart and laughs and even inside-y jokes.  Loved it!  The only issue I have now is trying to figure out what to binge next...

3. #PopeDogs: Like I said earlier this week, it's been all Pope, all the time here on the East Coast.  This, by far, has been the best thing to come out of the Pope's visit.  These little dudes are too adorable!

4. Speaking of cute dogs, if you're in Maryland any time soon and you're in need of a chihuahua, I recommend heading to BARCS, because these little guys need a home.  I don't really want a dog; haven't for a while, and I'm even seriously considering adopting one. How can you resist the little face with ears that are bigger than they are?! (UPDATE: It looks like they're all already adopted...Yay for them!)

5. If I could stay up WAY past my bedtime, I would most definitely love to watch James Corden's show.  He seems very funny and very sweet.  I'm loving what he's doing, most especially this epic musical number with Allison Janney and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.  So funny!
