I've just come from the theater where I witnessed what might be the very last Sherlock ever. I'm hopeful it won't be, but there are loads of rumors floating around, so I'm not exactly sure what to believe. If this in fact is the last Sherlock, I'd like to say that I loved it; that it was a fitting end to such a groundbreaking program. But I can't.
I won't go so far as to say I hated it. Like I've said many times, a bad episode of Sherlock, is still better than a lot of what's on television these days. But it most definitely wasn't on par with the other finales - even the other 8 episodes. It was missing something - something I can't quite put my finger on.
There was loads to love. Each fabulous character got some screen time, even dead ones. Sherlock and Mycroft shared some lovely scenes, as did Sherlock and John. There was movement on a few fronts. There was even a huge - GINORMOUS! - mystery to solve. Can you tell I'm trying to be vague as to not spoil it for anyone? But the mystery itself was the issue.
In Sherlock land, you like to think you're clever. You like to be able to figure out a few things for yourself and have Sherlock fill in the blanks with what you've missed. But this time around, the case was so ludicrous and huge, that there was no way to keep the train on the tracks. It lept one from cliff to another, never allowing anyone to follow it. Also, and this is entirely shallow and personal, but I love the way cool camera angles and tricks the show pulls - there was hardly any of that this time around.
All in all, it was a pretty amazing hour and a half. But in the end, if they don't come back one day, I'll be very disappointed. Because this show and these people deserve a much better send off!

Sherlock, How Could You!?
Spoiler Alert, if you haven't yet watched the Sherlock premiere. If you haven't seen it yet - what are you waiting for? Get to it!
Let me go on record as saying, I LOVE Sherlock. I've been anxiously awaiting the new 3 episodes since the last 3 ended - oh, about 2 years ago. The writing and directing are top notch. The stories - weaving in new details to old tales - are clever and engaging. And of course, the actors are pretty fantastic. Even a so-so episode of Sherlock (I'm looking at you Hounds of the Baskerville...) is better than a lot of television these days.
But, at the moment, I'm more than a little miffed at my favorite television show. Here's the thing, for about 2 years now articles and interviews have been written and conducted on the subject of strong female characters in Sherlock. The creative team have been ardent supporters of making Mary, Molly and Mrs. Hudson more than just the "girls" that follow the "boys" around. Gatiss and Moffat gave them backstories with heart and grit. The girls guide the boys and stand up to them when they need to.
These girls are fascinating characters in their own right. And seeing that most girls get written off as one note characters, the people behind Sherlock have been praised for their work - rightly so. And after 2 years of sticking to these principles, they blow it all up in their first episode back by killing their strongest girl for no darn good reason.
Mary's just gone. She died saving Sherlock which is admirable and still a strong way to go. However, he could have worn a vest. He could have jumped out of the way. He could have done any number of things, that would have allowed Mary to live. The writers didn't have to kill her. It didn't serve any purpose at all.
So yep, that's why I'm super annoyed. I'm still planning to watch the next 2 episodes, in hopes that this is one of their classic bait and switches. Afterall, Sherlock himself "died" a few years ago and he's back in the land of the living again. Maybe I've jumped the gun, and I hope I have. But if not, I'm definitely not going to be as anxious for the next few episodes as I was for the last 2 years.

Friday Five
1. I'm officially in love with this dog. He has the cutest face and seems like the sweetest! After seeing these pictures, I'm not sure how anyone can say that ALL pitbulls are dangerous.
2. No matter how many people say that Phil Mickelson is all washed up, he always comes back and surprises everyone. And in this case he doesn't hold back from taking his jabs at the critics : )
3. I'm a sucker for creative ways to raise money for a great cause. This is one of those creative ways. Pasta as a way to help those hurt in the earthquake in Italy? So perfect!
4. I'm still a huge fan of In a Creative Bubble for all my scrapbooking needs, however I found another designer this week that almost matches her designs - One Little Bird. Such cute stuff at such great prices! I love this whole digital scrapbooking revolution - it's just so much cheaper than buying stuff in stores.
5. This means it's super close to Series 4, right?! Woohoo!

Such a Long Wait....
This. This right here is what Comic Con was made for and it just so happens to be my most favorite thing to come out of the weekend. I've been waiting for this to appear since they started filming a few months ago and now that it has, I have SO many questions. What's with all the nurses? Who's in the hospital bed? Why does Sherlock look so afraid of Toby Jones? Did Toby Jones practice that creepy maniacal laugh? Was that really Moriarty alive and well on a gorgeous Welsh beach ? And most importantly, why on earth is the lovely Mrs. Hudson calling Mycroft a "reptile"?
You tend to forget just how amazing and cutting edge Sherlock is when you're forced to wait so long between the seasons. Seeing as the trailer ended with "Coming in 2017, it looks like we'll have to wait a bit longer this time as well. But having the chance to see little sneaks like this one, and getting the chance to speculate, makes the wait almost - I'm stressing the word almost here - bearable.
It's going to be a very long 6 months until the premiere, but from the looks of things, Moffat, Gattis, and Vertue have made that wait totally worth it!

In my Head
This first week back from break has been a bit of a crazy one. It's always hard to go back to work after a lovely almost 2 weeks off. Especially to an office that's in such upheaval where the only work to do is soul-suckingly boring. It's just one of those things that I'm sure will get better but for now, it stinks.
Anyway, all of that is to say, that I've been living in my head for the better part of the last 3 days, listening, watching and planning ridiculous things on a loop. So you know, par for the course in Kristen land.
Listening: On a constant loop (via iTunes and YouTube) I've been binging the "Something Rotten!" soundtrack. I loved the show when I saw it in December, but since I wrote about it last week, I've been listening to the music non-stop. It's sad at this point. My favorite song is now my alarm on my phone and I've gotten the words (with jazz hands and inflections) memorized to at least 4 of the songs. It makes me super happy and I have no idea why. Love it!
Watching: While nothing else is on television, I've been in a Leverage spiral. Starting over Christmas break, I started with season 2 (I've seen season one about a billion times) and made it all the way to season 5. I only had about 4 episodes left when my wi-fi crapped out the other night. You'd think that would break the binge spiral but no. I have the first 3 seasons on DVDs, so I just popped one of those in and listened to the commentary (which in case you care, I can't recommend highly enough. The writers and directors are sometimes funnier than the episodes!) Oh also, seeing as I'm in a Broadway mood, I realized today that Shrek the musical is on Netflix - that's going to be dangerous...
Planning: My music binge led to a last minute trip to NYC that was thrown together in a hot minute and is set up for this weekend. Today Tix, a discount site for tickets to show (only catch is you can only buy tickets a week out) is a fantastic site for anyone who loves the theatre. It's so easy to use I foresee many more last minute trips. And what show will I be seeing you ask? That would be "Something Rotten!" again. Luckily, the bestie was dying to see it after I raved about it. I don't think a second viewing will help with the binging at all.
Between all of this, a dead battery, crazy people at work and staying up way past my bedtime, oh and still contemplating what the ending of the Sherlock special all means, it's been one heck of a week. The worst part is, I have this awesome weekend planned - NYC and a cooking class with Chef Dad - that I'm just dying for Friday to get here. Seriously, dude, why is the week moving so slowly? Of course, I have to say, I'm pretty much dying for Friday to get here on Monday morning, so it's really nothing new.

He's Back - Be It Ever so Briefly
Let me explain. I was lucky enough to snag a ticket to a showing of Sherlock's "The Abominable Bride" in a theatre for this evening. That meant avoiding every word written about the episode since it first aired on New Year's Day. It hasn't been easy. We're only graced with so many Sherlocks and to avoid one precious episode for almost a week was torturous. Oh but it was worth it!
The episode was better than I could have imagined. Just based on the trailer, I had gleaned a few things here and there. I had also accidentally seen a few pics people had posted on Twitter, so I wasn't completely in the dark. But I should have known better. I should have known the dynamic duo of writing - Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat - would provide all sorts of surprises that I'd never dreamed of.
Aside from the eye candy, that's what draws me to Sherlock; its absolutely pitch perfect writing. It can swing from silly, to funny and back to dramatic and heartbreaking all within the span of a scene. It's also unbelievably clever and creative. I'd love to live in their heads for just a little bit. As Sherlock himself would say "What must it be like in their funny little heads..."
On top of the writing, the acting is spot on as well. They could not have chosen better actors for each and every role. The Sherlock and John characters are especially well cast, but even the supporting actors are perfect. The writers managed to fit in all the major players from the 9 episodes we all love, somehow. And thank goodness they did, because it wouldn't have felt right if they weren't there. The ensemble is just such a cohesive unit. You want to see them interact with each other for the entire time they're on the screen.
I won't go into details because I definitely don't want to spoil it for anyone, if for some unknown reason they haven't seen it. But I will say this, while I'm super confused and little uneasy about where next season (whenever the heck that will be) is going, this particular episode is so very good and so worth many re-watchings. Thank goodness for DVRs!

Bestie Christmas
I have the best bestie ever! Somehow she managed to make me the coolest present in the history of presents for Christmas. I love having crafty friends! I've shared my passion for snowheads before but if you didn't already know, I have a thing for snowman heads. In fact the whole Christmas tree is all snowheads - I promise you it sounds creepier than it is. The bestie thinks this fascination is weird and judges me slightly for it, but that doesn't stop her from contributing to it. Two years ago, she made me Neal Caffrey Snowhead - complete with a fedora and blue eyes:
Last year, it was the Doctor with brainy specs, spiky hair and his own Tardis!:
But this year, on top of an already cool melted snow head, beaded snow head and the unrelated tickets to see Jeff Daniels live, she made me Sherlock the Snowhead - curly haired, scarfed and all. How cute is he?! Thanks Bestie! You rock!

Social Media Geniuses
There have been some pretty amazing things that have happened on social media. Some companies just get what to do and they do it brilliantly. While others, just wind up embarrassing themselves. But this week, this week, takes the cake. Between some serious World Cup drama, super television news and just a bit of fun out of the golf world, these guys win the internet for best uses of social media!
Tim Howard is everyone's hero even though we lost to the Belgians. It didn't take long for the hash tag #ThingsTimHowardCouldSave to make its way around twitter. This one is my personal favorite.
Then there was the big announcement by the BBC this afternoon at 2:21 (clever, huh?) GBR time. There was never any doubt as to whether Sherlock was going to be picked up for a 4th season, but as it turns out, there was a surprise. We get a 4th episode this season instead of the usual 3. Of course, there's always a catch - the fourth season won't be premiering until Christmas...2015. Seriously!? But at least we got to see loads of creepy Moriarties making the rounds.

Friday Five
1. Billy Joel in the Soviet Union: In the summer of 1987 Billy and his family and band all went to play multiple concerts in the Soviet Union. At the time he was the first American to do so in the communist country. I'm not sure if it was older or just made this year, but I caught a documentary on the tour this week on Shotime. It was fabulous. In my mind, Billy Joel can already do no wrong. But to see footage and hear his thoughts on the whole experience was pretty amazing. Seeing the country full of optimism, brings hope for the country now, which seems to be back to where they started these days all those years ago.
2. The Olympics: Every two years, without fail, I get caught up in the hype. It's quite hard not to. The stories behind these amazing athletes are just so inspiring. This year, admittedly, it's hard to have that same sense of wonder and optimism, when you hear about the (let's call them) "issues" they're having in Russia. Let's hope that the world coming together in solidarity will open the eyes of the Russian government a bit to easing up on the crackdown on people who are different and unique.
3. Sherlock Q&A at the Apple Store in Covent Garden, London: Apparently, in London, one of the many awesome things they do is have Q&As with HUGE movie stars at Apple Stores on a random Tuesday night. Seriously?! I'm definitely living in the wrong place. You can catch the whole Q&A on iTunes for free if you have a free 45 minutes. It's well worth it and completely charming - as usual...
4. I love that major corporations (Google, The Guardian, BBC) are standing up to the Russian government and telling them they won't stand for hate and bullying. Way to go Google!
5. This one might be just a bit shallow but I'm a pretty happy camper that George Clooney is in a new movie. That means he's all over the talk shows promoting. He's always charming, always smart and always hilarious. Not to mention, he's pretty darn cute as well : )

Currently...
~ Super pleased with myself that I just figured out how to create a quiz in Adobe Captivate, all by myself in only an hour. I thought it would take me to Friday, but I knocked that sucker out tonight. Woohoo!
~ Rocking out to Bruce Springsteen's new single off his new album, thanks to The Good Wife. Haven't been a big fan of his new stuff in the last few years but "High Hopes" is fabulous!
~ Super excited that in about 5 minutes time, I will get to snuggle under the nice warm blankets and fall blissfully asleep for the next 7.5 hours. I have no idea why but it's been such a struggle to keep my eyes open today. I've been looking forward to my bed since I left it this morning.
~ Looking forward to the new EW magazine that hits newstands tomorrow - or so I've been told. A certain famous deducing detective made the cover, and it's pretty exciting stuff!
~ Craving some craft time. I've loads of ideas in my head right now, but I've been so sleepy or involved in other things to get them accomplished. After the Christmas decorations come down on Saturday (yes, it's January 15 and they're still up - don't judge), I plan to give me some me time in the craft room.
~ Hoping to finish up "A Fork in the Road" tomorrow, to move on to yet another food book in the stack of food books that have invaded my bookshelf. The goal is to finish 36 books this year (2 down - 34 to go after tomorrow!)
~ Staring at the pretty pink fingernails (yes, that's right, I said fingernails for the first time ever!) that are on my fingers right now. If all goes according to plan, I'll be having my first ever manicure in about 2 weeks time. One resolution down, just a few more to go.
~ Dreaming about the hand pulled noodles I will finally get the chance to devour at the new Chinese restaurant we read about today. Dad-Daughter Foodie date tomorrow night - Can't wait!

Sunday Snippets
~ After spending 3 paragraphs ranting on the merits of Adobe Captivate, well, I'm a bit more captivated this evening after realizing all the craziness that I was seeing, was actually caused by me and not the actual program...So there's that.
~ Still flabbergasted over the ending of Sherlock we've waited 2 years for. After 717 days, it was over within 12 days. Sad but completely, and utterly fantastic! I'm just hoping I won't be waiting until 2016 for the reslolution.
~ Giving Hollywood royalty liquor then expecting them to make sense when they've received an award just seems like a bad idea. Also, the Hollywood Foreign Press is way off base on the winners of these awards!
~ Now that I have the beginnings of finger nails for the first time ever in my 30 years, I've sort of become obsessed with painting them. I think I've blown through 5 different colors in the last 5 days...
~ Off to finally see Frankenstein in DC tomorrow. Slightly worried that I'll be a bit of a wimp but it's Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller! How could you not want to see it?!

Friday Five
1. NotontheHighStreet.com: I just discovered this site today and I'm thinking it might be my new Etsy. I'm still overly obsessed with all the goodies Etsy has to offer, however, this new site just increases those goodies 10 fold. Of course, it's based in Britain, so there are quite a few Britain-centric accessories and that may be why I find it so darn amazing. Their tagline is "For a life less ordinary"so if you are looking for new and out of the ordinary gifts, this should be one of your first stops.
2. The very fact that after 2 years, Sherlock is finally back and I'm able to watch it with England, due to my TunnelBear VPN. Absolutely amazing invention though I have no idea how it works! However, I know now I can use the BBC iPlayer which makes me very happy. Also, seeing as I live on Pinterest, I would have never had the willpower to avoid some major spoilers since the show hasn't started showing in the states. The show itself has been fabulous and I think I may be even more in love with where it's going than I have been in the past (however, I fear evil is in the air, so I'm slightly scared to watch the finale on Sunday...)
3. A Crock Pot supper: I think I may have said this already, but having dinner ready when I came home the other evening was about the coolest thing ever. The smell was fabulous and the recipe worked like magic. Gotta love something so easy and so delicious!
4. "The Tower, The Zoo and The Tortoise" by Julia Stuart: I have to say it was most definitely not what I was expecting. I've been looking at this book for the last year or so, and assuming it was a bit of a fairy-tale for grownups. While not necessarily, light and breezy, it was quirky and cute and after the first 40 pages or so, I fell in love. Fantastic story and fantastic characters. Oh and the setting (Tower of London!) wasn't so bad either.

2. The very fact that after 2 years, Sherlock is finally back and I'm able to watch it with England, due to my TunnelBear VPN. Absolutely amazing invention though I have no idea how it works! However, I know now I can use the BBC iPlayer which makes me very happy. Also, seeing as I live on Pinterest, I would have never had the willpower to avoid some major spoilers since the show hasn't started showing in the states. The show itself has been fabulous and I think I may be even more in love with where it's going than I have been in the past (however, I fear evil is in the air, so I'm slightly scared to watch the finale on Sunday...)

Sunday Evening Ponderings
~ Contrary to my original pics for this week's wild card rounds (Kansas City - they were undefeated through much of the season, Green Bay - Love Aaron Rogers!, and Cincinnati - their coach used to work for the Ravens), I'm happy with 2 of the teams losing. I still think KC blew the shot that they truly deserved (also, after having the best record all season, I still don't understand how they fell in the wild card around to begin with!). But as much as I love Green Bay, now that the Niners won, John has his shot to win the big game just like his brother did, which I'm sure will make Sunday dinners at the Harbaugh's a bit easier. And with Cincy losing, the Chargers, who will eternally be on my good side seeing as their win last week kicked the Steelers out of playoff contention, get a chance to shine. If the Ravens weren't going to the Super Bowl, I suppose the best teams may get the chance - as long as it's not Denver or New England!
~ I may need a few more re-watches of The Sign of Three episode of Sherlock to really appreciate the laugh a minute jokes. It was definitely different, and I wasn't sure how I felt at first but somewhere around the time John and Sherlock got wasted at John's Stag do, I was hooked. I'm not sure what the writers were on but you could tell they and the actors were having a blast. Even after all that, they managed to throw in a bit or two that made me a bit weepy. Everything a good episode of television should be and more!
~ I really have absolutely no idea how I'm going to handle going into work tomorrow morning. I've been on and off, away for the last 2 weeks. Why does vacation seemingly take so long to get here but is over in a blink of an eye? A full 5 days of work - dreadful!
~ I know it's winter in Maryland, and everything should be expected but after a weekend (and more is expected this week) of sub-zero temperatures (ok not today but the last 2 days have been ridiculous!), I'm ready to pack it in and move to the tropics! Having to scrape ice and snow off of my car in shifts because I can't feel my fingers through my gloves is not my idea of a good time!
~ "Remembrance of Things Paris - 60 years of Writing from Gourmet" is on the reading list for this week. Loving it so far! I may not have fallen head over heals for Paris as I thought I would, but reading about it still gets me starry-eyed.

Friday Five
1. This interview is pretty much flawless. It's how I imagine myself conducting an interview with pretty much anyone on the planet: entering with loads of intelligent questions and flailing as soon as the interviewee arrives. Though, I must say, I'm in love with all of the Sherlock love that's being shared around the web these days (#SherlockLives!!!!), but this interview takes precedent above them all.
2. Collect App: I was reading about this app in an article on Project Life. Now I know I've come out against the whole Project Life craziness, but I can't help but be impressed with some of the gorgeous albums I see on Pinterest. Apparently, a lot of Project Lifers use this app to keep track of when photos are taken. You can create different albums then upload the photos you take onto a calendar. You can also label them in a variety of styles. The best part is it reminds you when you haven't taken a picture on a particular day so if you are trying to complete 365 pics in a year, you have that little push you need when other things get in the way of remembering.
3. I never really bought into the whole right brain left brain thing but after reading this article, I'm convinced I'm right brained. It's actually quite creepy how accurate these depictions are except the whole not knowing the grammar rules thing. I rocked out Language Arts in elementary school : ) (PS: Excuse the language on #9, it's a little risque..)
4. Unexpected Snow Days: Based on the weather forecasts for the last week, you'd think we here in the NorthEast would have been prepared for the storm of the century. But the last time the storm of the century was coming, we received not one single snowflake and yet all schools, government agencies and churches were closed long before they realized NOThing was happening. So when it started snowing yesterday, and snowing, and snowing and snowing, we were pleasantly surprised. It wasn't the storm of the century but it was enough to look gorgeous on the trees and close enough down to give us a pretty nice 3 day weekend. Now if it would get above 8 degrees tomorrow, I'd be a much happier girl!
5. Travel Planning: Not only has next week's trek to DC to see Frankenstein been shored up, but also the Summer trip to NYC to see Cabaret (with Alan Cumming!!!!) has been booked and tentative dates for Boston are set. Things are looking up in the travel department!

Friday Five
1. This is a little too spot on than I would usually care to admit. It describes the everyday inner workings of my brain to a tee.
2. Seeing as this article is all about some crazy Russian hating one of my favorite people, you'd think it would not be a favorite of mine. But seeing as the reason for this man hating Stephen Fry is so despicable; I'm a big fan. For this guy to have it out for him truly means Stephen's doing something right!
3. My feelings for Etsy perfectly shared with one small little hanging. Don't get me wrong, I love receiving clothes and gift cards like most people do. But I get super excited when I receive something homemade. It's most often something the other person has thought a lot about and spent a great deal of time on. Those sorts of gifts are always the most special. And the fact that Etsy has so many special little surprises at your fingertips is just icing on the cake.

4. Fall TV is here! As usual there are some hits and misses. So far I'm loving The Crazy Ones, The Blacklist and I think I'm going to love Michael J. Fox's show (how can you not? It's Michael J Fox!) and S.H.I.E.L.D (Joss!!). And in the oldie but goodie category there's NCIS, Big Bang Theory, Elementary and Person of Interest.
5. If my Christmas tree wasn't solely hung with Snowheads, this would certainly be at the top of my Christmas list. How stinking cute and completely geeky can you get!?

Fall is Coming
As much as I love summer, and as much as I can't believe September is already upon us, I think I'm a bit happy to see autumn coming. I love the sun, sand and surf of summer in Maryland if not the crazy high humidity. But there's something nice about the cool breezes, change in the leaves and all sorts of pumpkin, apple and cinnamon recipes invading our tables. While today was still warm and you could feel summer still in the air, it had also the whif of the fall to come. There was a gentle breeze and blowing leaves. It was actually quite nice.
This fall brings all sorts of happy things in its wake, which could be another reason I'm ready to wave goodbye to beachy weather.
~35 days from tomorrow is the great European adventure.
~The Ravens kick off their season on Thursday, defending their Super Bowl winning title
~700 Sundays re-opens on Broadway, and with any luck they'll be tickets to that coming down the pike.
~There are about a dozen pumpkin recipes already waiting in the wings for me to try out on Pinterest.
Sherlock, Doctor Who and all the others will be starting soon.
So you know, all sorts of exciting (if you're a nerd like me : ) things to look forward to. I do think I'm ready to:

Friday Five
1. Once again BuzzFeed gets the award for having the article that made me both laugh out loud and shake my head knowingly. Aside from the F-bomb dropped in one of the GIFs (please ignore but it was too funny not to share), it's a bit too close for comfort for the food lover in me. Especially the fear that I may never get to try all the yummy food there is in the world. Yes there are weird people that worry about this craziness, and I (unfortunately) am one of them.
2. I hear that there are people up in arms about this in England. They don't believe he should be throwing his stardom into the political arena. But I back him 100%. It's debatable how actions like this can be taken but I feel that he's going about this in a pretty respectable way. He's not jumping on any couches or insulting his fanbase. He's taken his shots directly at the media which is where the changes need to be made. Go Benedict!
3. Thickers: No I don't have a lisp. Thickers are my new scrapbooking obsession. They've been around quite a while, but they've been coming in handy with my Europe scrapbook. Alphabet stickers are usually fun, but sparkly, puffy ones, are just way more exciting!
4. Chazz: Oh my goodness! If this restaurant were closer I'd weigh about 300 pounds. I wrote about it a few weeks ago, but I was able to go back this week and it was just as amazing and artery clogging as it was the first time. The pizza and pasta are good, but the big draw for me is the Burrata and Prosciutto appetizer. With just a bit of olive oil and some crusty bread, it is by far one of the best things I've ever eaten. The burrata was so smooth, you could dip your bread into it. And the prosciutto was salty and sweet at the same time. Delicious!

Friday Five: Geeky Edition
In honor of the Geek National Holiday that is occurring in San Diego as we speak (aka ComicCon), this week's Friday Five is dedicated to all things nerdy. Geek out!
1. I'm slightly fond of UK's Sherlock and can't seem to get enough of this video. Even if you have no idea what a Cumberbatch is, there is no way you won't at least giggle at his shenanigans. Adorable!

2. This fairly amazing poster apparently inspired by Wil Wheaton and designed by the folks at Don't Forget to be Awesome. I'm only certain of a few of the references (some geek I am!) but I love the design and the sentiment.
3. I'm not sure how or when I decided that Matt Smith was all kinds of adorable in a non-lovey dovey more bumbling 5 year old kind of way, but it was most definitely in the last few months. Of course it's now that he decides to leave. Let's hope that means we get at least a few more interviews at least half as adorable as this one.
4. As a one-time attendee, I agree with every point on this list. In reference to point 21, I believe that's the exact spot I sat in for 3 hours waiting for the USA panels to start. Best vantage point for costume watching if I do say so myself.
5. Also as someone who knows exactly what she's missing - the crazy, enchanting, celebratory, geek-love nerd fest - this list is pretty accurate as well.

Just Another Day...
Today, somehow, I woke up without the aid of my alarm at the precise time I needed to get up.
Today this made me laugh; probably a bit more than it should have.
Today I'm desperately waiting for the second episode of Broadchurch to be uploaded online. I mean, technically it aired 7 hours ago in England. And honestly, it's 4 am there, they could take the time to upload it right now. Who needs sleep? : )
Today I read an entire book about the power of infographics. Said book had all kinds of fun free resources that are found online for creating them yourself. Now if I could just figure out what to graphically represent, I'd be all set.
Today I bought one pair of jeans and got the second pair free. Sweet!
Today I walked the entire length of my very long building 4 times round trip. Where was my pedometer when I needed it?
Today flew right on by. If only all Mondays were this easy.
