Wishful Wednesday

For the most part, I've always loved flying.  It's so exciting to jump on a plane and go somewhere new.  And for at least the last 10 years or so I've wanted to learn to fly.  I know it's a super expensive hobby that my measly wallet will never support.  But it's all sorts of appealing; the idea that I could jump in a little plane and pop off to parts unknown if ever I got the itch.  I'm under no illusion of traveling at Mach 3 or doing loop-de-loops.  Those stunts scare the pants off me.  I just want to learn how to do some regular old flying in a little single engine  above the clouds and on top of the world - is that so much to ask?
