Every time the lottery goes a little above the norm, I get millionaire fever. My chances go way down when the money goes high, I know this. However, that never seems to stop me. Lottery pools? I'm in. Grocery Store quicky purchases? Also in. Then there's the daydreaming. I know I will most likely never win the $400 million, but that doesn't stop the planning. The plan usually changes from jackpot to jackpot, but today's is quite perfect. So perfect in fact, that maybe the lottery gods will look down upon my tickets, drizzle some good joo joo on them and deem me a winner.
Now, if I win as a part of the office pool, which is more likely, I'll get about $20 million. Plenty enough to give lots to friends and family, which leaves me about $10 million, which if I've worked it out correctly, is perfect for the travel I have in mind.
Sell the house and pay off the cards. Then of course it's off to England to rent a small flat that will act as home base. That's when the fun begins. 12 months and 12 countries: England, Scotland & Wales, Ireland, Germany, Prague, Greece, Italy, Spain, France, Croatia, Australia/New Zealand, Austria, and Belgium. Then of course it's back to the flat in Notting Hill to live out my days sipping tea and loving life.
PS: If by some chance there's no post here tomorrow, fear not. I'll be off celebrating the big win. If there is a post, please don't mention the plan. I'll just be living in my fantasy world a bit longer...
