Trivia Tuesday

~ A first half finish of tied for first place means nothing if you answer most of the second half questions incorrectly and bet it all and lose on the last question.  For the record, you wind up tied for last, in case you were wondering.

~ A hate for Woody Allen movies may help you answer a question about Annie Hall correctly.  You may even be the only person at the table who knows the answer and has ever heard of Annie Hall.

~ It's possible to answer a question on 4 television shows based on photos from the show, without ever seeing a single one of the shows.  However, it does not help you when you also need to know the actor that's been in all 4.

~ In all the billions of numbers, somehow, sometimes you will answer a question with the exactly correct number.  Even if the math teacher attempted some brilliant math, then gave up and chose a number at random.

~ In clever trivial questions this week - ones that weren't actually included in the trivia, but were included by geeky friends - one thousand is the first number in our number system that contains the letter "a".  Who knew?

~ Apparently I dance when coming back to the table after dropping off our answers - even though I never dance in places I'm supposed to.

~ When you have an entire category of boat questions, it's always helpful to have someone on your team that's a big sail-boater.  Because, honestly, I've got nothing : )
