For some reason it's taken me this long to get to Havre de Grace in Harford County, MD. And this time we weren't even going to see the cute little town. We were actually going to a craft festival. However, the craft festival was tiny which left us time to explore. It didn't take long as Havre de Grace is the very definition of Small Town America. But it's also a beautiful little town on the water.
We had the chance to see the Concord Point Lighthouse, the Lafayette Trail, Rochambeau Plaza and the statue of Marquis de Lafayette (aka "America's Favorite Fightn' Frenchman.") And the answer is yes, I've been silently singing Hamilton all the darn day. Love having the chance to explore these great little parts of Maryland that I haven't made time to see before.
What a gorgeous summer day and a beautiful town!
