Today was the Stamp Scrap Art Tour in Westminster and I was quite excited to go. Of course, the bilboard I read originally called it a Scrapbook convention, so I was at least a little let down when it was not so much a scrapbook convention than a stamp show. I like stamps. I do. I have issues with them because I tend to make a bit of a mess with them but I still find them super cool.
However, after the 10th vendor, even I was a bit sick of stamps. Don't get me wrong, they had some seriously fancy schmancy ones but when it's about 150 degrees and you're surrounded by women on a mission to stamp, it can be a be overwhelming and redundant. But I did manage to make a few purchases that I'm excited to try out soon.
After that, the 150 degree temps dropped and the monsoon came. Which, you know, makes getting to and from your car in a shopping center a little difficult. Is it too late to wish for the heat back?
