Things you Learn...

When attempting to teach yourself how to shoot in manual as opposed to automatic.  

~ Turns out, I have no idea what I'm doing.

~ Pinterest cheat sheets are awesome, seeing as I'd have a 0% chance of ever figuring things out without them.

~ This centerpiece was a lovely subject.  However, you can't see it in a single one of the photos I took because even though the cheat sheet told me I was doing everything right, my camera wasn't believing it.  

 ~ Once I figure things out and I actually succeed in taking a single decent picture, I've no way to replicate it because I forget what I've changed to make it all work in the first place.

~ I'm terrible at selfies... though this may not be just a manual photo phenomenon.

~ England, may just have to be taken using auto.  There's too much to photograph and not enough time to learn how.
