...To my That Girl moment in Lower Manhattan
I'm headed to NYC this weekend. And aside from the bone-chilling cold I'm assuming is blanketing the city, I'm pretty happy about it. I haven't been up there since early this past summer. Of course then, it was 80 and sunny. This weekend it will most likely not be 80 and sunny. Aside from the Shake Shack, Bryant Park shopping and a dozen of my other favorite things that Manhattan has to offer, I also get to see Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
As excited as I am to be heading back to Broadway and seeing something new, I have to admit I'm going into this one blind. I haven't seen a single description or heard a single song. The only thing I know is that Michael C. Hall (aka Dexter) is playing the title character. He's no Neil Patrick Harris, but I hear he's pretty good. Let's hope it's as fantastic as every other show I've ever seen - based on how I feel about Broadway musicals, I'm not worried.
