Friday Five

1. I love having a new project; whether it be crafts, or cooking or just a ridiculous idea I've had in my head for a while.  Currently I have a new one.  I'm not really prepared to share because I've actually tried this particular project before and failed miserably.  But this time, I think I have mastered how exactly to go about it.  So far, so good.  But of course, we're only 2 days into 2015...

2. "The Cinderella Murder" by Mary Higgins Clark: Say what you want about her mysteries.  They tend to be slightly the same.  But I happen to love them.  They're definitely page turners and this one was no different.  I really wish she'd turn into James Patterson and start writing lots and lots of books each year!

3. Travel Planning: Yes, we're back here again.  I take a ridiculous pleasure in preparing to travel places.  The more you research, the more you get excited - at least I do, anyway.  I learn so much and discover so many different things to see.  Of course, when I go about planning like this, I tend to need to extend my vacation by, say, 6-12 months...

4. I meant to share this a few weeks ago when I found it, but Christmas got in the way.  I can't help being a fan of the whole Elf on a Shelf thing.  I think it's probably a crazy amount of work when you have kids, but it's probably super cool for the kids.  But, I've never seen a cuter elf on the shelf than this little one.  How adorable is she?!

5. This.  This right here is my happy place.  There aren't a lot of places I'm in love with in Maryland, but Annapolis is definitely one of them.  It's chilly and washed out in the winter, but in the summer it's gorgeous and full of life!
