Friday Five

1. In my humble opinion, this man deserves to receive all the awards he's ever been nominated for.  He's a fantastic actor and seems like an even better person.  I love that he seemed completely shocked and humbled in his speech.  (Note to American award shows: Surprising award recipients with big achievement awards, makes for much better television!)

2. Since CHA a few weeks ago, when Hello World! was released, I've been coveting it.  I can't wait for it to hit stores next week.  I anticipate buying every piece and using it in all my travel albums this year.  Love a good travel line!

3. So apparently the Lego movie was so good, LOTS of people thought it should be nominated for an Oscar.  Of course, the Oscars being the Oscars, it wasn't, which ticked a lot of people off (judging by twitter).  Though, I don't think it ticked off the director as much as it could have.  If you're going to miss out on an Oscar, you can't beat this guy's attitude.

4. Having a friend that's up for anything is pretty darn nice.  In the last month, I've been pushed to sign up for a knitting class, the color run, attend a crazy anti-valentine's day show, geek out over attending a convention, and yet another paint nite.  At this rate, my calendar will be full from now to kingdom come.

5. Having a travel plan.  I know this sounds ridiculous but after finally cracking the nut of this insane England Adventure, I'm so very happy.  For weeks now I've been scrambling things around trying to fit in all the adventures we're supposed to have to no avail.  Finally yesterday, I worked it all out.  Wahoo!  Now we just have to pay for it all - I don't think that part is going to be as much fun...
