In the last few months, I've developed a bit of an obsession with HGTV. Honestly, it's a bit out of hand. In the last week I've watched House Hunters, Property Brothers, Buying & Selling, Fixer Upper, and Ellen's Design Challenge. And we're not just talking single episodes here. I'm not sure if you know this or not, but HGTV is a fan of marathons of their programming. And seeing as they're basically the potato chips of entertainment, you're forced to watch every episode.
I don't even love every show. There are a few I'm not even fond of, but still I watch and covet and dream.
House Hunters: I like it but they're not always in fun places. International is definitely the superior House Hunters (yes I have a preference...)
Property Brothers: Love Love Love! The carpenter's a cutie and their design choices are spot on!
Buying & Selling: Same boys on Property Brothers and same cuteness factor.
Fixer Upper: Here's the deal. I really want to love it. Her designs are gorgeous, but her husband is super annoying. I so don't like the dude!
Ellen's Design Challenge: I love Ellen but I just don't get it.
The worst part of this obsession is the dreaming. Because Drew can do it, I assume I'm just as capable - but without all the fancy tools! Now I just need a new house, and some design brothers to help me. But all I really need is their tools and their manual labor. Thanks to HGTV, I have thousands of ideas of my own : )
