I hate cars! I hate that they're crazy expensive. I hate that you have to buy gas for them each week. I hate that you have to pay for insurance for them. And most of all I hate that when you think all you'll need is a simple oil change to get you through the year, the car decides to plot its revenge and make you pay way more than you were expecting. As you can probably guess, I've had a revenge of the evil Scion sort of day. Even without the non-essential things that can wait a bit, I spent 20x what I was supposed to spend. With the non-essential AND throwing in the fact that I also need a new windshield for the 2nd time in 6 months because of 2 cracks - you're looking at about the price of one whole trip.
Do you have any idea how obnoxious that is?! I'm not even a fan of driving so spending money on something that is basically a means to an end is quite the pain in the neck. I don't understand people who spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on their cars or those people that purchase new ones each year. Or who live to drive the open road. If I had my way, every city would have an underground that was preferably, just like London's. That way, after a simple walk to the train station each morning, I'd have quick train into the office without sitting in traffic, getting hit by rocks or screwing up the alignment by driving over the hundreds of pot holes that have sprung up since last week's snow.
As a matter of fact, do you know who does have an Underground exactly like London's? That's right! London, of course! On second thought, let's just move there. That'll be way more fun!
