Yum!

I'm usually a by the book cook.  I like having recipes because it's hard for me to know exactly what to put into things to make it taste a certain way.  But today, I decided to be adventurous.  I saw this recipe on Pinterest and thought it looked pretty yummy.  However, I hate canned tomato soup - dreadful!  So I just took a long shot and figured I'd wing it.  I threw together some tomato sauce, onions, pepper, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, & pepper. Then I threw in some mini-sausage meatballs I rolled from Bob Evan's Italian sausage log and some frozen tortellini.  In about an hour, I had a delicious dinner!  Three cheers for taking a risk.  They hardly ever pay off for me, but this time it most definitely did.  The hard part of course, is seeing if I'll ever be able to recreate it : )

PS: Apologies for the less than stellar photography.  I get a little excited when there's food waiting and don't always have the time to grab the good camera.
