Wine in the Wind

Because I'm not a wine drinker, I've never actually been to Boordy Vineyards before. Everyone talks about how wonderful it is, but I never really saw the point of visiting a vineyard, when wine wasn't my thing.  Well, that's now officially changed.  I'm still not a wine drinker, but I agree with everyone else, on Boordy's status - it's beautiful!  

Tonight was the start of their summer concert/picnic series.  For $20 you can bring a picnic dinner and be treated to one free glass of wine as well as a concert.  Tonight's house band was the Dublin5 - an Irish Rock band that was awesome!  You even have access to all of their house wines, the Corner Pantry for yummy food and ice cream from a small batch creamery in the area.  And seeing as it's only May, the weather wasn't ungodly hot - it was absolutely gorgeous!  

I will most definitely go back - if for nothing else, than the people watching.  It turns out if you give people lots of wine and then ask them to dance - there are some quite awesome results!

 Love these clouds!  The one above looks like a heart and the one below looks like angel wings.  Add them to the possible shooting star I saw, and I'm thinking good things are on their way - right?
