~ There are some times when your mind is completely overtaken by an upcoming vacation, that you can't focus on a single question. And basically your team would benefit more from an intelligent monkey rather than you. I believe the only thing I answered tonight, that only I knew, was a question about Scrubs, a television show.
~ There are some people out there that recall more information when they have alcohol. My entire team drank 2 alcoholic beverages and at least one shot, except me, and they're the ones that were answering the questions. We made it into first place and yet, my iced tea got me nowhere.
~ Some people are absolutely bewildered by someone who would prefer iced tea over beer or wine. They just don't get it. And they like to think it's because you haven't really found something you like yet. That's not the case at all. I like margaritas. I think they're delicious. I just don't think they're delicious when I'm eating crab dip or chicken tenders. I also find $8 a ridiculous price when you can enjoy iced tea for a quarter of that price and save the rest for a great piece of cake!
~ A cruciverbalist is a crossword puzzle enthusiast. Isn't that a fantastic word!? It's super fun to say! And while I had no idea at the time, our team's combined Catholic School knowledge of latin word roots helped us to guess. I will totally be dropping that 10 pointer into conversation in the near future.
~ I know nothing about James Bond - like at all. Which, you know, was helpful when the super secret clue for one round of questions was Bond Girls.
~ Lastly, it turns out if you mix math with movie titles - I actually become great at math! Why didn't we learn this sooner?
