I have spent the last 3 months working on, scheduling and organizing a cyber conference. This is a big deal. Thousands upon thousands of dollars have been put into this event. We have a whole plan for 2015 and this is the big kickoff. And today, I spent the entire day setting everything up and worrying about whether swag was going to be here in time.
So what't the confession you ask? I'm supposed to actually man the darn booth tomorrow. I'm supposed to stand there in my specially purchased logo shirt and pretend I know what the heck I'm talking about. Here's the thing, I don't...Not a darn clue. I have no idea what I'm going to say to convention goers. I have no idea what I'm going to say to someone who wants to know about cyber things. I have no idea what I'm going to say to someone who wants to know about one of our classes.
Long story short, I'm screwed. I feel a cough coming on....think it's too early to call in sick tomorrow?
