Iron Rooster

Seeing as I'm a big fan of eating good food in general, I get very excited when new restaurants open.  Of course, lately there haven't been many.  There have been a lot of closings but not many openings.  That changed this month when Maria's in Annapolis closed and Iron Rooster opened.  The deal is this: breakfast served all day.  Now that alone, would make it pretty popular.  But add to it, the awesome menu and great atmosphere and I think they may just have a hit on their hands.  

If the breakfast I had this morning - a burrito with scrambled eggs, cotija cheese, peppers, onions and BEEF BRISKET (yes you heard that right brisket!) smothered in poblano pepper sauce - is any indication of the rest of their menu, Iron Rooster should win every restaurant award out there.  The food was absolutely delicious!  If I wasn't so darn stuffed after the burrito (which I'm currently still dreaming about) I probably would have returned for lunch AND dinner.  The Ramen and the breakfast burger are already calling my name.
